1.About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Meta Pro Solutions, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“Cardly.ae”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you visit cardly.ae, create an account, publish a card, subscribe to a paid plan or buy a physical product.
By creating an account, placing an order or ticking the box to accept these Terms, you agree to them. This agreement is concluded electronically, which is valid under UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
These Terms include our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use Cardly.ae on behalf of a company, you confirm that you're authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that company.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits the rights you have as a consumer under UAE law, including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulations (Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023) and Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technology Means.
2.Key terms
- Service
- The Cardly.ae website, dashboard, public card pages, NFC tap and QR code links, and related support.
- Card
- A digital business card you create on Cardly.ae, available at its own link (for example cardly.ae/your-name).
- Content
- Anything you add to Cardly.ae — text, images, links, logos and other material.
- Lead
- Contact details that a visitor chooses to share with you through one of your cards.
- NFC product
- A physical card, sticker, stand or other item with an NFC chip sold in our shop.
- Team
- An organisation account on the Teams plan, with an owner, admins and members.
3.What Cardly.ae provides
Cardly.ae lets you create bilingual (English and Arabic) digital business cards; share them by link, QR code or NFC; let visitors save your contact and share their details with you; see analytics; and — on the Teams plan — manage cards for your organisation.
We improve Cardly.ae continuously, so features may change over time. We won't remove a core feature of a paid plan during a period you've already paid for without giving you a fair remedy (see Changes to the Service and these Terms).
Some features depend on third parties or on the visitor's device — for example WhatsApp, phone and email apps, or a phone that supports NFC. We can't control how third-party apps or devices behave.
4.Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You need to verify your email address before you can use your account.
- Keep your password confidential and consider turning on two-factor authentication. You're responsible for activity on your account, unless it results from our failure to keep the Service secure.
- Tell us promptly at hello@cardly.ae if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.
- Don't open multiple free accounts to get around plan limits.
- We may refuse or reclaim a card address (slug) that is reserved, misleading, infringes someone else's rights or impersonates another person or brand.
5.Acceptable use
You must use Cardly.ae lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you must not:
- impersonate anyone, or publish false or misleading information — including about licences, qualifications or prices;
- publish content that is illegal in the UAE, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or offends public morals or religions;
- send spam, misuse leads or collect visitors' personal data without a lawful basis;
- scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- resell the Service or our NFC products as your own without a written agreement with us.
You're responsible for your content and for following the rules of your profession — for example the advertising and licensing requirements that apply to real-estate brokers, healthcare providers or financial services.
6.Your content and your licence to us
You own your content. We don't claim ownership of anything you add to Cardly.ae.
So that we can run the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, reformat (for example resize or convert images), display and transmit your content — only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, including showing your published cards to anyone who opens them.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups (removed on a rolling basis), copies visitors have already saved (such as a contact file), and content we must keep by law. We won't feature your card in our marketing without your permission.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish your content, including permission from anyone whose personal data, photo or trademark you include. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.
7.Public cards, visibility and NFC links
- A published card is public: anyone with its link, QR code or NFC card can view it and save the details on it.
- Cards on the Free plan are hidden from search engines. Cards on paid plans may appear in search results unless you turn on “Hide from search engines” in the card's settings.
- Pro and Teams plans let you protect a card with a password. Anyone you give the password to can view that card.
- Our NFC business cards and stickers are programmed with a Cardly.ae link rather than your details. This lets you change which card a chip opens at any time — but it also means the chip only works while your Cardly.ae account and a published card linked to it remain active.
- Google-review cards and stands are programmed with your review link and don't depend on your Cardly.ae plan.
- You can unpublish a card at any time. Visitors who have already saved your contact keep their copy.
8.Plans and free trials
We currently offer the following plans. Current prices are always shown on our Pricing page.

Free trials
- A free trial gives you the paid plan's features for 14 days. One trial per person or organisation.
- Before you start, we show the date the trial ends and the price that applies afterwards.
- If you gave a payment method, your paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Cancel at any time during the trial from Billing and you won't be charged.
- If you didn't give a payment method, your account returns to the Free plan when the trial ends.
The Free plan
The Free plan has no time limit. Where we describe it (or the digital card included with an NFC product) as free “for life” or “lifetime”, we mean for as long as we operate the Service; if we ever discontinue the Service, the notice and export commitments in Suspension and termination apply.
Plan limits
Each plan has limits — for example the number of cards and how much analytics history you can see — described on the Pricing page. If your paid plan ends or you move to a plan with lower limits, the lower limits apply: extra cards may be unpublished and premium features switched off, but we won't delete your content without first giving you notice and a chance to export it or upgrade.
9.Billing, renewal and cancellation
- Payment. Subscriptions are paid in advance by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. You authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each billing period.
- Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year for the same period, at the price in force at that time, until you cancel. We'll send you a reminder by email before an annual plan renews.
- Cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan.
- Refunds. Fees for a billing period that has already started aren't refunded for part of a period, except where required by law or as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.
- Plan and seat changes. Teams subscriptions are billed per seat, with a minimum of 3. Seat and plan changes apply immediately: Stripe charges or credits the pro-rated difference for the rest of the current billing period, as explained when you make the change. Credits are applied to your future invoices rather than paid out.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and we'll let you know. You keep access while we try to collect payment; if payment still can't be collected, the subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price increase. The new price applies only from your first renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Receipts and invoices. We provide receipts and tax invoices as required by UAE law; you can find them in Billing.
10.Prices, currency and VAT
All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include value-added tax (VAT) where applicable. The total you pay — including any delivery fee for physical products — is shown before you confirm. We don't add hidden fees or surcharges.
Your bank may charge fees for foreign-currency or international card transactions; these are outside our control.
If a price is shown incorrectly because of an obvious error, we'll contact you before processing the order, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
11.NFC product purchases
- Ordering. When you place an order, you offer to buy the products in it. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after successful payment.
- Personalisation. You're responsible for checking the names, titles, logos and other details you submit — we print what you approve at checkout. Only upload logos and trademarks you have the right to use.
- Made to order. Personalised products are produced specifically for you, so they can't be returned for change of mind once production has started. Our Refund & Returns Policy explains your options for faulty, damaged or misprinted items and for unpersonalised items.
- Delivery. We deliver within the UAE only. Delivery options, fees and times are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
- Ownership and risk. Products become yours when we receive full payment. Responsibility for them passes to you on delivery to you or to the person you nominate.
- Compatibility. NFC tapping works with most modern iPhone and Android phones; some phones need NFC to be switched on, and some older phones don't support it. You can always share your card by QR code or link as well.
We may cancel an order before dispatch — for example if a product is unavailable, the address is outside our delivery area or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we do, we'll refund you in full.
12.Availability and support
We work hard to keep Cardly.ae available and fast, but we can't guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to carry out maintenance; where possible we'll schedule it at quiet times and announce it in advance.
Support is available by email at hello@cardly.ae and by phone on +971 4 430 1882. Please keep your own copy of important content — you can export your data at any time from Settings.
13.Suspension and termination
By you
You can stop using Cardly.ae at any time: cancel paid plans from Billing and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account unpublishes your cards immediately — so NFC chips linked to them will stop opening them — and deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or end your access, unpublish a card or remove content if:
- you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
- we're required to by law, a court order or a competent authority;
- your use creates a security risk, involves fraud, or could cause legal liability or serious harm to us, other users or the public;
- fees you owe remain unpaid after we've given you notice.
Unless the situation is urgent or the law prevents it, we'll tell you the reason first and give you a reasonable opportunity — normally at least 7 days — to fix the problem. If we end your account when you're not at fault, we'll refund the unused portion of any prepaid fees. If you believe we've made a mistake, contact us and we'll review our decision.
If we discontinue the Service
If we decide to stop offering Cardly.ae, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice, let you export your data, and refund any prepaid fees covering the period after the Service ends.
14.Our intellectual property
Cardly.ae, our logo, software, designs, card templates and themes, and the content we create are owned by or licensed to Meta Pro Solutions and protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, sell or create derivative works from the Service, or use our brand, without our written permission.
If you believe content on Cardly.ae infringes your rights, email hello@cardly.ae with the card link, details of your rights and why the content infringes them. We'll review your notice and act promptly.
15.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from what these Terms say or the law requires, we make no other promises — for example that Cardly.ae will achieve a particular business result or generate leads, or that third-party apps and devices will work with it.
To the extent permitted by UAE law:
- we aren't liable for loss or damage that wasn't reasonably foreseeable, and — where you use Cardly.ae for business purposes — for indirect losses such as loss of profit, business, goodwill or data;
- we aren't responsible for content that card owners publish, for how card owners use leads, or for third-party websites and services linked from cards;
- for NFC products, our liability is limited to repairing, replacing or refunding the product and its delivery fee;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in that period and AED 250.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that can't be limited under UAE law — including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
16.Your responsibility for third-party claims
If you use Cardly.ae for business purposes and a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of leads, or your breach of these Terms or the law, you agree to compensate us for the reasonable losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) resulting from that claim. This doesn't apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach or negligence. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim and give you the opportunity to take part in responding to it.
17.Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, our business or the law. We won't reduce your rights or increase your obligations without telling you first:
- For changes that materially disadvantage you, we'll notify you by email and in your dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect.
- If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. If a change materially reduces a service you've already paid for, we'll refund the unused part of your prepaid fees.
- Changes required by law, or that only improve your rights, may take effect immediately.
- The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order.
The current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page.
18.Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising from or relating to them, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah.
Please contact us first — most issues can be solved quickly. If we can't settle a dispute amicably within 30 days, the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah have jurisdiction. These Terms contain no arbitration clause, and nothing in them requires you to resolve a dispute by arbitration.
If you're a consumer, you can also contact the competent consumer protection authorities in the UAE, and nothing in this section limits your right to bring a claim where UAE law allows it.
19.General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between us about the Service and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
- Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Transfer. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over the Service, provided your rights aren't reduced; we'll tell you if this happens. You may not transfer your account without our consent.
- Events beyond our control. We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as major network outages, natural disasters or government action, but we'll do what we reasonably can to limit their impact.
- Language. These Terms are published in Arabic and English. If there's any difference between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
20.Notices
We'll send notices to the email address on your account or show them in your dashboard, so please keep your email address up to date. A notice sent by email is treated as received when it's sent, unless we receive a delivery failure message.
You can send notices to us by email at hello@cardly.ae or by post to Meta Pro Solutions, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
